The Exhibition about Mother Teresa in New York.

On 26th April, at the headquarters of the United Nations Organization in New York, was organized the exhibition entitled "Mother Teresa-Gonxhe Bojaxhiu- A living symbol of love and human dignity."

The exhibition is rich in relic and items used by Mother Teresa and her mission, the characteristic folk dress, which was used by Mother Teresa during her youth, religious cult objects used by her, artworks and books dedicated to the Her life and Mission, multiple pictures, paintings and sculptures, etc.. A documentary dedicated to the life and charity work of Mother Teresa accompanied it, it was from this documentary that the exhibition took its name.
In her speech Dr. Liri Berisha, said that her goal is to put this exhibition even where "all the nations, cultures and traditions of the world, styles of thinking and different beliefs see and meet each other". “We have made a modest effort” - she said “maybe to enlighten the light”. To share with you and the world this precious heritage, this precious national treasure, to which we all are proud. If we all think about Mother Teresa's mission with extends to all continents inhabited by humankind, this exhibition at the United Nations, is also symbolic of the fact that Mother Teresa was a “UN” and Her mission brought together nations, peoples and countries.
Ms. Berisha said that this exhibition was made possible with the contribution and outstanding cooperation of its center here in New York, and in Albania, but the goal was easily reached because of the generous contribution of the Albanian community, where she mentioned; Harry Bajraktari, brothers Sergio and Zabit Bytyçi , Harri Sinanaj, Ben & Jack restaurant, Zef Balaj, Skender Perolli, and Demë Balidemajn.
