The visit of Mrs. Liri Berisha, President of Mother Teresa Cultural Foundation, in Washington DC.in National Prayer Breakfast

Mrs. Liri Berisha, President of Mother Teresa Cultural Foundation, during 2nd-5th February 2010, with an invitation of organizers of National Prayer Breakfast and a special invitation of the Board of Directors of Women's Informational Network - WIN held a visit in Washington DC.
Mrs. Berisha visit was concentrated on two important activities:
1. National Prayer Breakfast, that traditionally takes place in Washington DC in early February of each year;
2. A special reception in United States Congress, with a group of members of United States Congress that are also members of Board of Directors of Women's Informational Network – WIN.

Participating in National Prayer Breakfast

During her participation on 4th February for the National Prayer Breakfast, Mrs. Liri Berisha had the possibility to meet many political, art, culture and science dignitaries from different countries of the world, that gather together in Washington DC to indicate the values of peace, kindness, religion, etc..
As it is a tradition, Mr. Barack Obama, President of United States, J. Biden Vice President of United States, Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State, etc. took part in this international. Besides the important speech of Mr. Obama, President of United States, who once again reiterated the values of peace and kindness, an interesting part was the speech of Mrs. Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State, who told her impressions during the meetings with Mother Teresa, the modesty and grandiosity of this saint.
This point is also the objective of Mother Teresa Cultural Foundation activity, which was more emphasized during an interview that Mrs. Berisha gave for Voice of America as she was telling about her impressions for participating in the National Prayer Breakfast on 4th February.
Mrs. Berisha participated in many other activities of the National Prayer Breakfast.
