Mrs. Liri Berisha meets the president of Children's Defense Fund Organization, Ms. Marian Wright Edelman

Also Mrs. Liri presented to Mrs. Edelman initiative for the establishment of Mother Teresa museum in Albania, as the most important Albanian woman, who never spared her assistance to children in need. Mrs. Edelman President of the Children's Defense Fund, said she was fascinated by such efforts and would like to start concrete cooperation with the Albanian Children Foundation, led by Mrs. Berisha.
Regarding this she offered the possibility that members or activists of the foundation may go for a specialization in this foundation, in order to increase administrative and operational capacity. On this occasion Mrs. Edelman also cited an interesting fact that the first work of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, shortly after graduating from university, has been exactly the Children 'Defense Fund Foundation.

Children's Defense Fund is the most powerful organizations in American in protection of children’s rights with various activities, since the improvement of legislation, lobism, and health care. Mrs. Wright Edelman is one of the icons of protection of children's rights in the U.S. One of the first African-Americans who exercised as advocate, she later was dedicated to protecting the rights of American children passing of nearly 40 years in daily activities for improving the lives of American children.
She holds the “Medal of Freedom”, the highest civilian honor that gives the U.S. president.
