In the speech delivered by Prime Minister of Albania, Mr. Sali Berisha said he felt quite happy at hosting into the venues of the Council of Ministers this exhibition and the presentation of the monograph on Mother Teresa. In his greeting message addressed to the guests, the prime minister said:

“In the first place, I appreciate highly the very good job His Eminence Lush Gjergji presents to the Albanians and the entire world, i.e. the monograph which carries in itself the boundless love, admiration, devotion of Don Lush Gjergji for the Albanian woman who by trust in God managed to occupy more than anyone else in her time the hearts of the people, managed to represent by her virtues the nation and its civilization in the most noble, dignified way; she managed to operate in the conditions of the greatest human pain and which in a certain way were abandoned by all except for her. Mother Teresa gave honor to the people; first of all it gave honor to her own family and nation, but she honored more than anyone else the man and his spiritual values.

I had the privilege to meet her several times, to welcome her home and naturally I wanted to find out the source of her extraordinary power. During all the talks I had with her, I realized that her strength had its roots in her boundless trust in God and there she was concentrated in the way that only the holy missionaries can do.

The main protagonists of the ceremony, Dom Lush Gjergji, author of the monograph "Mother Teresa, The mother of charity", known as one of the most dedicated and closer to Mother Teresa said it was the belief that Mother Teresa had in God and her love for people that encouraged him to write this book. Lush Don Gjergji remembers her saying "I met Mother Teresa in Rome in1967 and then I could not get away from her anymore. She was the mother of my dream and became the mother of all Albanians and the entire world. She always said to the sisters that when I go to Albania do not ask me for how long I will stay...  "

He conveyed with emotions one of the wills of Mother Teresa.
"She said give me your hand. I gave up the right and said: 'What I do today to the Lord and said: "You have another hand and you have five fingers" and said "What I do today for the man'. If there were good then make your hands together and thank God. If you did something wrong or you had the opportunity to do good and did not do, go ask forgiveness and silence as you will have other days. "
Prayer by Mother Teresa " May God protects Albania, May God protects our faith" was the closing word of this activity.

Monograph "The mother of charity" in English language was ordered up to 5 million copies across Europe.
